🔥ChartGuide V2 Indicator
ChartGuide V2 Indicator
ChartGuide V2 helps you trade with more structure. It gives Buy/Sell signals, shows your risk and targets on the chart (Entry, SL, TP1–TP3), and includes a built-in performance table so you can quickly review how your current settings are performing. You can also use tools like Sessions (killzones), Market Structure, and Multi-Timeframe Trend to improve decision-making and focus on the best trading hours. This summary explains what you need to know without going deep into the internal logic.
What you see on the chart
Buy+ / Sell+ labels when signals appear
Candle colors: Green = long active, Red = short active, Gray = no trade, Yellow = exit candle
Optional level visuals: Entry, SL, TP1/TP2/TP3 lines + labels
Exit marker when the trade closes
Main settings
Multiplier is the main sensitivity setting. Default is 30. Lower multiplier gives more signals but more noise; higher multiplier gives fewer signals and cleaner setups. Risk-Reward (RR) changes how far targets are. If RR is bigger, targets are harder to hit and win rate usually drops. “Show TP and SL levels” displays the full trade plan on chart. “Show SL only” is mainly for swing trading: you enter on the Buy/Sell label, place SL, set an alert for Exit, and close the whole trade when Exit appears.
Multiplier: lower = more signals/noise, higher = fewer/cleaner
RR: higher = farther targets (often lower win rate), lower = closer targets
Show TP & SL: shows Entry, SL, TP1–TP3
Show SL only: swing workflow (enter on label, SL placed, exit on Exit alert)
Context Filter
The Context Filter is a trend-based filter that can remove low-quality trades and keep signals cleaner. But like any filter, it can also block some good trades. Context Length controls how strict it is: higher length is stricter/smoother; lower length is faster but can be noisier.
Enable Context Filter: fewer but cleaner signals
Context Length: higher = stricter, lower = faster
Sessions
Sessions are mainly for scalpers because they often have more volume and stronger movement. ChartGuide can mark the killzones for Asia, London, and New York. Timing Mode lets you switch between Daylight Saving (summer) and Standard Time (winter).
Show Sessions: marks Asia/London/New York killzones
Timing Mode: Daylight Saving (summer) / Standard Time (winter)
Market Structure + Multi-Timeframe Trend
Market Structure shows where the market is forming higher highs/lows and lower highs/lows, and marks BOS and CHoCH. Multi-Timeframe Trend shows direction from 1 minute to monthly to help you align with higher timeframe direction.
Market Structure: HH/HL/LH/LL + BOS + CHoCH
Multi-Timeframe Trend: 1m → Monthly trend view
Performance Table (built-in backtest)
When enabled, the performance table shows results with your current settings: TP1/TP2/TP3 hits, SL hits, and total trades. By default it counts the last 100 trades (you can change this). Scalpers can filter stats by Asia/London/New York so you can focus on the session that performs best.
Shows: TP1/TP2/TP3 hits, SL hits, total trades, win rate
Last N trades: default 100 (adjustable)
Session filter: view stats for Asia/London/New York only
Neutral + Win Rate types
Neutral trades are when Exit appears without hitting TP1 or SL. Normal win rate is strict. Advanced win rate gives neutral trades partial weight based on how far price moved.
Example for Advanced Win Rate: if a neutral trade moved ~40% toward TP1 before exiting, it can count like a +0.4 partial win instead of being ignored.
Neutral: Exit without TP1 and without SL
Normal Win Rate: strict outcomes
Advanced Win Rate: partial weight for neutral trades (example: 40% → +0.4)
How to optimize (simple)
To optimize for any pair and timeframe: choose your sessions (if scalping), set a reasonable RR (many start around 2), then test different multiplier values and compare performance. Example workflow: change multiplier from 30 down to 15, check win rate; try 14, compare again; keep the best balance for your market and timeframe.
Pick pair + timeframe
If scalping: choose sessions and filter stats
Set RR (example: 2)
Test multiplier (e.g., 10–50) and keep the best balance
Best beginner preset
Multiplier: 30
RR: 2
Show TP/SL: ON
Context Filter: ON (Context Length ~500)
Sessions: ON for scalping / OFF for swing
Market Structure: ON if you want structure
Multi-Timeframe Trend: ON
Performance Table: ON (Last N trades: 100)
